CaseStack Celebrates New Office and Expansion with Anniversary Event at Arkansas Regional Headquarters

Fayetteville, AR, Feb. 12, 2009 – After only one year in Northwest Arkansas, CaseStack today announced plans to triple their regional workforce at the new Arkansas headquarters at One Steele Plaza in Fayetteville, a sign of increasing economic development in the region.

CaseStack’s Anniversary Event brought roughly 75 people to an open house with representatives from Green Valley Network, NorthWest Arkansas Community College and the University of Arkansas. Members of the CaseStack Transportation and Logistics Services teams were also on hand for existing and potential customers, discussing the company’s cost-saving consolidation programs and displaying their web-based real time shipping software.

The logistics company also began recruitment for the additional 40 to 50 open positions planned for CaseStack’s Arkansas location in 2009. Members of CaseStack’s Human Resources team interviewed potential job candidates for Administration, Customer Service, Finance, Human Resources, IT, Logistics, Research and Development and Sales positions.

Several Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce representatives were also on hand, along with Fayetteville Mayor Lioneld Jordan, who called CaseStack’s expansion announcement a prime example of a growing business investing in the city and its residents.

CEO and President Dan Sanker, who has attributed the establishment of a Northwest Arkansas office to the region’s unique business environment and the company’s use of a sustainable business model, said CaseStack's growth resulted from the “tremendous support of the Northwest Arkansas community.”

“Our very purpose is to bring efficiency to logistics management, and we’ve always been interested in sustainability and supply chain management,” Sanker said. “We should have come to Northwest Arkansas a long time ago, given the wealth of consumer product goods companies in the area, but the unexpected benefit has been the talent we’ve found here.”

Sanker said the planned expansion of CaseStack will not only benefit the company, but also “create significant, local jobs during difficult economic times.”

“Despite the systemic holding pattern and layoffs occurring in many industry sectors, CaseStack is strong,” he said. “We are looking for innovative employees to enhance our team in Northwest Arkansas.”

The announcement event came right after CaseStack moved into its brand new office at One Steele Plaza. The office also includes another 3,000 square feet of unfinished space for additional expansion in 2009.

The event was enhanced with catered hors d’oeurves from Fayetteville’s The Event Group. The celebration closed with a cake cutting and ribbon cutting ceremony.
